2018-2019 MTAM Vice President, Megan Druckrey, MT-BC!

Megan is board certified music therapist who has worked for Allina Health Hospice in the Twin Cities since 2008. She finds music therapy in end-of-life care a rewarding and sacred way to hold space for patients and families as they process tough health diagnoses and consider life and death issues. Megan is also an internship supervisor with Allina Health, has guest lectured at Augsburg University, and has presented at music therapy and hospice conferences in Minnesota. Outside of music therapy, Megan plays viola with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra – Minnesota, fiddles with a local bluegrass group called Roots and Wings, and enjoys keeping up her fingerstyle guitar chops. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy from Augsburg College and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Music Therapy program at Augsburg University.
